Tour Starts June 29th In San Bernardino, CA

(BEVERLY HILLS, CA) March 18th – Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, the world’s biggest hard and heavy music touring festival announces its electrifying sixth-year lineup. Artists performing on the 2013 thunderous fest include main stage metal and horror legend, festival closer, ROB ZOMBIE, plus, the triple gold certified FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and a monster lineup that includes additional main stage bands MASTODON and AMON AMARTH. The festival area is led by stage closers CHILDREN OF BODOMand MACHINE HEAD as well as BEHEMOTH, JOB FOR A COWBOY, EMMURE, BORN OF OSIRIS, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE, BUTCHER BABIES, BATTLECROSS, HUNTRESS, THROWN INTO EXILE and CITY IN THE SEA. Four stages will be presented this year for the first time ever and the stages include the ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK MAIN STAGE, THE JAGERMEISTER STAGE, MUSICIANS INSTITUTE STAGE, as well as, the SUMERIAN RECORDS/HEADBANG FOR THE HIGHWAY CONCOURSE STAGE, (local bands performing on the Sumerian Records/Headbang for the Highway Stage will be announced in June).

All tickets go on sale March 22nd at 12:00 Noon local venue time via

A rock icon and auteur filmmaker with insight and unlimited vision, Rob Zombie has continuously challenged audiences as he stretches the boundaries of music, film, and publishing. Now, the seven-time Grammy nominated recording artist releases his fifth solo album, Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor, which streets April 23, and includes the first single, “ Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Super Town,” along with such tracks as “Ging Gang Gong De Do Gong De Laga Raga,” “Lucifer Rising,” “Behold! The Pretty Filthy Creatures” and a heavy-duty cover of Grand Funk Railroad’s “We’re an American Band.” Rob Zombie’s Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor is the first release on his new label, Zodiac Swan, through T-Boy Records/UME. Zombie’s also written and directed his 6th feature film, “The Lords of Salem”, in theaters April 19th (Anchor Bay).

After three gold albums in a row and ten consecutive top ten radio singles, Five Finger Death

Punch continue their evolution in 2013 by releasing a new single in early May, followed by their fourth studio album in June.  FFDP are set to perform live at this year’s Revolver Golden

Gods Awards show in Los Angeles on May 2 and will warm up for Mayhem playing this summer’s most prestigious European festivals, amongst them UK’s Download Festival and

Germany’s Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.

The World’s Greatest Freestyle Motocross team THE METAL MULISHA is also confirmed to

perform on most dates.

all attendees.  Rockstar will also present the VIP/Contest winner area designated as THE

ROCKSTAR LOUNGE and the festival area PARTY LIKE A ROCKSTAR TENT where fans can sample ice cold Rockstar and get autographs from their favorite bands.

Addition to the festival’s music and arts, MUSICIANS INSTITUTE and the Rockstar

Energy Drink Mayhem Festival have partnered to create the Rockstar Mayhem Independent

Artist Scholarship! This scholarship fully covers tuition and material fees for a two quarter IAP

certificate (Room, Boarding and Travel are not included.) The application period runs from

Formed in the year 2000 under the monicker Devils Whorehouse by Morgan from Marduk, and after releasing the highly acclaimed albums ”Revelation Unorthodox” and ”Blood & Ashes” as well as the eps, ”Howling” and ”Werewolf”, the band fell its time to change name as the music and philosophy behind the orchestra has outgrown its name. The end of one world and the birth of another. The band now continues under the name Death Wolf symbolising the strenght,dedication and will shown in its creations. The band just finished the recording of its upcoming album filled with Northern end themes and death hymns. Cold steel over the worlds throat. Scandinavian Black Metal has been in dire need for an injection of fresh blood during the last years. Now RIMFROST are powerfully sticking it to this scene with ice-cold needles. “Veraldar Nagli”, which translates as “Axis of the World” – meaning the North Star, is unleashing an avalanche of frost-bitten, melodic riffing. The Swedes from Borås are organically fusing Black, Death and Thrash Metal into a mighty sound of their own. RIMFROST successfully merge the frost-bitten drive of early IMMORTAL with the pounding groove and catchiness of AMON AMARTH and the harsh attitude of SLAYER. Originally hailing from Waltham,MA, Graveyard BBQ’s self-proclaimed “DIRTCORE” sound is a style coined by Slinger/Vox/Songwriter/Visionary/Creator, “Brownbag Johnson”. It’s recipe is a unique high-voltage blend of “Old school Delta Country Blues, penetrated by Monstrous/Sleazy guitar riffs, Electrifying slide-guitar, Thunderous Bass and Drums, Powerful/ Gritty/ Sinister vocals, fronted by a rebel rock attitude that boasts SEX, BOOZE, n ROCKnROLL!!!” Of Graveyard BBQ’s many traits, fun is the bottom line. Rock n’ Roll history is rife with brothers working together to create their artistic vision. But rarely do we hear about a full-fledged family unit embarking down the treacherous path of a musical career. In the case of Texas based Mothership, the Brother Juett (Kyle on bass, younger brother Kelley on guitar) enlisted the aid of their father, John Juett, to help get the ‘ship off the ground. Raised on a healthy dose of their father’s 70’s-era record collection, the brothers began crafting songs fueled on the raucous and raw good time vibe when music seemed to know no bounds. Lifting off the pad for the first time in 2010, the band began to gain momentum and notoriety with their unabashed live shows. Knowing that the service of the family patriarch was temporary, Father Juett actively helped his boys find his replacement, and in late 2011, enter the mighty Judge Smith to hammer away on the skins. In early 2012, Mothership entered Crystal Clear Studios with Wo Fat mastermind Kent Stump manning the boards and by mid-year, the band self-released their debut album. It was the combination of the 70’s-era heavy rock fuzz and fury mixed with the blistering guitar solos of the NWOBHM-era that drew the bands attention to California-based Heavy Rock label, Ripple Music. In the waning months of 2012, after a successful year of traveling regionally throughout Texas and opening for national acts such as Prong, Red Fang, Gypsyhawk, Earthen Grave, and Lo-Pan, Mothership officially dubbed Ripple Music as its Home Port and began plotting a course for their first U.S. Tour in early 2013.

Mud River began in the fall of 2011 with a musical style that was geared towards alternative rock. Our goal was to bring back the sound of the 90’s bands like Nirvana and Alice In Chains.

A major lineup change in early 2012 left Mud River looking for new members and a new musical direction. The remaining original members Jose Baez and Ferney Padilla began jamming out with guitarist Anthony Morris and the new Mud River sound was discovered.

Heavier sounding guitar and bass along with powerful drumming help create a modern rock sound that will define Mud River. Melodic intros that build towards thunderous riffs help create the basic structure of the Mud River sound.
The music and lyrics were ready but Mud River was lacking a voice. The search for a vocalist was long and many singers auditioned but the Mud River lineup would not be complete until Dave Cornejo stepped up to the microphone. His voice is equally melodic, rhythmic, and powerful and has brought the Mud River songs to life.

The origin of Eye Empire began in 2007 when Corey Lowery (Stuck Mojo/Stereomud/Dark New Day) and B.C. Kochmit (Switched) started to construct what would eventually become the foundation of this empire.

After two years of writing and searching for the right voice, Donald Carpenter (Submersed) joined the group in October of 2009 followed by former Texas Hippie Coalition member Ryan Bennett on drums. The band’s debut album: Moment of Impact will be released in the coming months via Bad Puppy Records / Bulldog Productions.

Produced by Corey Lowery and Eye Empire, early pressings of the album have already sold thousands of copies on-line exclusively through mail order. An expanded track listing with three brand new songs make up the national release of Moment Of Impact.

The first single from the album, “I Pray” has already been heard on Sirius/XM’s “Octane” for the past few months; while the band has been staging one standing room only show after another. Eye Empire will immediately head back out on the road for dates beginning on September 4th in Madison, WI, and rolling in to a direct support run with Wayne Static’s Pighammer that commences on September 27th in Sacramento

This is their “Moment of Impact” and it’s just the beginning.

ENGLAND – U.K. rock quartet, Amplifier, has released a lyric video for “Matmos,” the opening track from the band’s Kscope debut, Echo Street, out April 23. The video is streaming on theEcho Street mini-site at: http://www.kscopemusic.com/amplifier, which also features the “Matmos” music video, album info, downloads, pre-order links, audio, live dates and a free MP3 of “Matmos.”

 

Echo Street, the follow-up to The Octopus, Amplifier’s self-released debut which went on to sell over 20,000 copies, was produced by the band’s Sel Balamir and mixed by Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters / Biffy Clyro).

 

Echo Street also marks the band’s first effort with its revamped four-piece line-up, delivering a subtle shift in style and allowing for a mix of the band’s signature epic space rock jams with accessible pieces boasting three-part vocal harmonies.

“We are extraordinarily pleased with Echo Street,” said vocalist/guitarist, Sel Balamir. “We didn’t think that we could better The Octopus, but I think that Echo Street has a timeless quality about it.
