You ever hear of a musical project that you cannot wait for? One of those, for me, is Half Past My Sin. This project has been on my radar for a while now. I have been talking to vocalist Jason M Arigoni (Sinn) for a while now and have been getting regular updates in the project. I had the great pleasure of being able to preview the new track “My Demand” and in one word WOW!Very well put together track. Clean vocals, catchy riffs, solid drums, and bad ass bass line make this a DO NOT MISS track! Make sure you go their page for all of their info: https://www.facebook.com/HalfPastMySin
The new Album from Half Past My Sin “4:44” featuring Sinn on vocals and Dan Zavadil on bass with special guests Jason Bittner/Shadows Fall on drums and Ben Carroll/RA on guitars!!! Also appearing on 4:44 will be the songwriting of Clint Lowery/Sevendust!!!
Out 2013!!!!
welcome to the sin!!!
I Heard something very interesting from a good source today. My source tells me that Dellacóma Rio(ex Sunset Riot) and Jody Row and John John(ex Glitterboys) have been in contact since the breakup of their respective bands. Could there be a joining of forces down the track? This is very intriguing and we will continue to keep our ears open.

Set for release in North America on October 29 (October 28 EU/UK, October 25 Germany), the highly anticipated follow-up to 2011’s critical-lauded, Billboard-charting Forever Abomination was recorded earlier this year at GodCity Studio with Kurt Ballou (Converge, Trap Them, High on Fire), who expertly channeled the band’s colossal live sound into eleven blasts of abominable, frosty fire. September 2012 marked the completion of a debut album that had been several years in the making. Having come together as young teenagers in London, England the boys quickly began to write songs and spent a large part of their formative years balancing their aspirations for the band with the task of completing their education. After self-releasing a 4-track E.P back in 2010, the guys sat down to consider their options moving forward. ’We had collectively always wanted to write and record the biggest sounding album we possibly could’ says singer Charlie, ’it was becoming too difficult to juggle the responsibilities of university and jobs with the full time nature of a working rock band’. During the spring of 2011 after an initial visit to California, they decided it would be in the best interest of the band to drop out of university, quit their jobs back home and take a chance on the other side of the pond. Fast forward to 2013 and the bands ambitious risk is beginning to pay off. With a debut album completed (Caroline/Capitol Music Group release) – production duties going to Bob Rock (Metallica, Aerosmith, Motley Crue) and John Fields (Andrew WK, Switchfoot, Jimmy Eat World) Charming Liars have already released a taster of the fruits of their labour in the no-nonsense rocker ’Break Away’ which has wetted the appetites of CL newcomers famished for more tunes. With the first official music video wrapped for lead single “New Disorder” and an introductory EP showcasing 2 more tracks alongside the official debut and “Break Away”, Charming Liars are preparing themselves for their first ever North American run. They will be embarking this August on this summer’s Rockstar Uproar festival tour alongside some of rock’s biggest legends and heavyweights including Alice in Chains, Jane’s Addiction and Coheed & Cambria. Having already made a mark in the Los Angeles area with shows on the infamous Sunset Strip at venues like the Viper Room, Roxy, Whiskey a go-go and Troubadour amongst others, it’s obvious that there is a powerful resurging demand for quality guitar music and Charming Liars look set to deliver
I just discovered this band and am really enjoying their music. Check them out for yourself here is the video for “New Disorder” :
“There is no Chuck here. No, he’s not the lead singer. No he’s not the inspiration for the music. He was the high school janitor… the janitor who droned on and on about his lifelong dream involving a ’Picture Show”. They never knew what the hell he was talking about. After all, they were just teenagers who wanted to get through high school and move on. But fast-forward 4 years later…those three friends had a dream of their own. A dynamic 3-piece rock act with a growing fan base, and no name… The Chuck Shaffer Picture Show was the logical choice. Affectionately dubbed CSPS, the band’s members Ryan Johnson (Vocals/Guitar), David Stiefel (Bass), and Patrick Kenney (Drums) began winning over fans, up and down the East Coast with their energetic live show, filled with radio ready rock.” – CSPS press site.
I have been hearing a buzz about this band for a bit. Fresh new rock with catchy hooks, clean vocals, and a head bobbing beat. I find it very cool that they are getting the chance to hit the road and spread their music on the 2013 Rock Star Energy Drink Uproar Tour. We are trying to score an on camera interview with them on the tour. Check out the lyric video for “Nobody Remembers Fame:
Queen was a band that was always on the cutting edge. I fell in love with their music when I first heard “Now I’m Here” from 1974’s Sheer Heart Attack, I was 10 years old and hooked. I followed and enjoyed their music from then on. 1979 brought the fans a live album that with a good pair of headphones and the proper “mood enhancement” made you feel like you were at an actual live Queen show. The talent and showmanship put forth on this record is nothing short of stellar. The combination and chemistry between Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon gave us some of the most iconic music ever made.
1. “We Will Rock you (fast version)”
2. “Let Me Entertain You”
3. “Death On Two Legs (Dedicated To…)”
4. “Killer Queen”
5. “Bicycle Race”
6. “I’m In Love With My Car”
7. “Get Down, Make Love”
8. “You’re My Best Friend”
9. “Now I’m Here”
10. “Dreamer’s Ball”
11. “Love Of My Life”
12. “39”
13. “Keep Yourself Alive”
14. “Don’t Stop Me Now”
15. “Spread Your Wings”

18. “Tie Your Mother Down”
19. “Sheer Heart Attack”
20. “We Will Rock You”

These are the tracks that make up this jewel of an album. This is an album I will always cherish. If, after all of these years, you are new to Queen this is the album for you to get your feet wet. Check out the live version of “Don’t Stop Me Know” and feel the power of Queen.
We lost Freddie Mercury in 1991 and the world got a little dimmer and sadder. You will always live on in my heart and ears Freddie, thank you for all you have given us.
It is truly good to see Jason back and flourishing with Newsted. We are fortunate to have been able to review HMM and bring our review to you the music world. Newsted consists of Jason Newsted – lead vocals/bass, Jesus Mendez Jr. – drums, Jessie Farnsworth – guitar, Mike Mushok – guitar. This is a band that has come together to bring us some great heavy ROCK N’ ROLL!

Headbanging riffs, heavy vocals, strong lyrics make this record a DO NOT MISS on my list. With familiar elements and yet still something new they have brought something fresh to the heavy metal table. This record contains the heaviness that seems lost to a certain other band that shall remain nameless. I have recently been asking myself if some of our Rock N’ Roll veterans can remain relevant in today’s music world. I am happy to say Newsted’s Heavy Metal Music can indeed. Check out Newsted on the net at: https://www.facebook.com/jasonnewstedofficialhttp://newstedheavymetal.com/
Boy am I glad the music industry is back in the hands of the musicians. Because of this bands are making the records they want to make, and they are damn good. Death Alley Motor Cult has made one of those DO NOT MISS records. Before we talk about the record let’s talk a bit about Death Alley Motor Cult. Comprised of four distinct individuals: Death Alley Dave – Vocals and Lead Guitar, Zero-G – Rhythm Guitar and backing Vox, The Falcon – Bass and backing vox
The Banker – Drums. Separately they are unique individuals, together they form a solid rocking unit. On to the record, The Outlaw Chronicles will take you on a brutal journey that you will want to go on again and again. Your journey starts with “She Wants” which sets the pace for this sonic descent into the world of Death Alley Motor Cult. Like a fish hook in the mouth of a trout “Sex Parade” snags you with a solid groove and will have your fist pumping in the air. The lead off single “Bow Down” knocks on your eardrums and then simply kicks them in, full of aggression and power this is the PERFECT song for the pit. “Funk You” well, “C” makes it meaningful if you get my drift. “I’m Not Dead” gives one the self affirmation to stay strong and persevere, not dead, NEVER SAY DIE! “Robot Bride” makes me think of blasting down the highway at about 90 with the sound CRANKED TO 11+!!! “Bad Ass Mutha” yes they are, and yes they mean it this one makes you feel like it too! “One More For The Road” keeps the pace til the very end, no slacking on this record. If you’re looking for a technical album, you won’t find it here. Loud, dirty, sleazy rock n’ roll with loud guitars, throbbing bass, pounding drums, and I just gargled with razorblades vocals is what you get with Death Alley Motor Cult!!! Kudos to Death Alley Motor Cult for making a kickass record! Special thanks to Eddie’s Mates for turning me on to this band!
